I started writing sketch comedy in college with Bloomers, an all-female sketch comedy troupe established in the 70s as a response to the male-only comedy group at Penn. After college I continued to write, direct, and edit sketches for Youtube.

10 Hours of Walking in LA… with a Dog (2014)

My most viewed (over 3.3 million times on Youtube) sketch parodied a viral video that showed a woman walking in NY getting cat-called. While cat-calling is generally no laughing matter, it struck me as odd that my dog was catcalled almost everywhere we went while walking in LA. I enlisted my friends Zach and Molly to bring that thought to life in “10 Hours of Walking in LA with a Dog.” Special shoutout to my son, Bowie the boxer dog, for his impeccable acting.

Sex by Numbers (2015)

When I did musical stand-up in LA, this was one of my favorite songs to perform. Inspired by the sex position 69, I go fully numeric with the sex positions. For this music video, I made a bunch of felt puppets. My mom helped me film it in her apartment bathroom. It’s been viewed over 30,000 times on Youtube.

Rap Music: Medical Disclaimers (2013)

Rap music has always been one of my favorite genres. Even if they don’t give us the healthiest advice.

Febreze Commercial Parody (2013)

My friends Zach, Caroline, and I teamed up for the below sketch parodying a popular Febreze ad. This video is not safe for kids.

Birthright Canada (2014)

After I went on birthright in college (a free trip to Israel for any Jew), I wondered what other countries might want to offer free trips. That question turned into “Birthright Canada,” written in Bloomers with my friend Olivia. When I moved out to LA, I filmed the sketch with my pal Jake.
